The Met Office forecasts light rainfall this coming week

Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued red and yellow fog weather alerts across parts of the country this morning. Foggy weather conditions are expected to continue until 8.30 am, today.
The Met Office also forecasts partly cloudy skies to become cloudy overnight, and a probability of light rainfall over some northern areas with an increase in temperatures on Monday, February 24, morning.
The alert states there will be a deterioration in horizontal visibility, “which may drop further at times over some western areas until 8.30 am.”
Red and yellow fog alerts were also issued over Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Road, from Baynounah Bridge to Al Ruwais Bridge in Al Dhafrah region. Additionally, patches of fog was also reported over Tarfa in Al Dhafrah region.
The highest temperatures today are expected to be between 30 and 35 degree Celsius, while temperature lows will be between 15 and 20 degree Celsius over coastal and island areas.
Light to moderate winds with speeds reaching up to 35 km/hr can be expected today.
According to the NCM forecasts, there will be a chance of light rainfall from Monday, February 24, to Thursday, February 27, with temperatures expected to decrease in the beginning of the week.
