UAE weather: Rough sea and foggy skies this weekend

Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecast a decrease in temperatures today across the UAE.

The forecast stated temperature highs today, June 20, to be between 37 and 43 degree Celsius, while the lowest temperature recorded was 22 degre Celsius in Bada Dafas in Al Dhafra region.

According to the NCM, sea conditions will be rough this evening. In a post shared on social media, the yellow alert states, “rough sea westward with wave height of 6 feet at times in the Arabian Gulf until 8pm on Friday, June 20.”

Weekend forecast

However, forecast for this weekend states a change in weather conditions.

While humid nights continue across the UAE, residents can expect a chance of fog or mist formation on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, morning respectively. These foggy skies are expected over some internal and coastal areas in the UAE.
