Humidity and temperatures rise amid UAE's varied weather
Dubai: The UAE is currently experiencing an unstable weather conditions, with light rain reported in Sharjah around 12:50 PM this afternoon, following earlier showers in Khorfakkan this morning. A significant cloudy atmosphere is now prevailing along the east coast, signaling a broader shift in conditions. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) advises that these evolving weather systems could soon bring dusty winds across various emirates.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), these conditions are influenced by an extension of a surface low-pressure system from the East, coupled with a weak upper-air low-pressure system. This atmospheric setup is leading to partly cloudy and hazy skies at times, with a chance of convective cloud formation, particularly over eastern areas extending to some internal regions.
These cloud formations are associated with a probability of rainfall. Temperatures are expected to increase, and humidity will rise slightly throughout the day. Residents can anticipate more rainfall today and tomorrow.
Furthermore, dusty winds are a possibility across the UAE, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/hr, occasionally reaching up to 40 km/hr. These winds may cause blowing dust, potentially reducing visibility. Motorists and outdoor enthusiasts are advised to exercise caution.
There is also a probability of mist formation. Winds will generally be light to moderate, blowing from the Southeasterly to Northeasterly direction, and may freshen at times during daytime.
