Dubai: Going outdoors today? Be sure to bring an umbrella! The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert for the UAE, as there is a chance of light rainfall throughout the day. The NCM reported early morning rainfall over the west of Bu Hasa, west of Yaw Al Nadhrah, Al Dhafra region, as well as Qarnain Island and Diynah Island in Abu Dhabi.

The forecast calls for partly cloudy to cloudy skies over several areas, especially in the western regions and islands. A noticeable dip in temperatures is also expected across the western parts of the country. Maximum temperatures are predicted to reach between 35°C and 39°C in the internal regions, while coastal areas and islands will experience highs of 30°C to 35°C. The mountain regions are expected to be cooler, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C.

As night approaches, humidity levels will rise, particularly in some internal areas, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist formation by Monday morning. Light to moderate winds will freshen by the afternoon, potentially causing blowing dust in western areas. Winds will range from 10 to 25 km/h, with gusts reaching 40 km/h, blowing from the southeast to the northwest.

In addition, the sea will be slight to moderate, gradually becoming rough by the afternoon in the Arabian Gulf, while remaining slight in the Oman Sea.
