Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert warning of dense fog formation that may severely reduce visibility across parts of the UAE early Wednesday morning. The alert is in effect from 3:10am to 8:30am, particularly over coastal and internal areas in the western region.

Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution due to poor visibility and wet, slippery road conditions caused by lingering humidity. Authorities emphasize safe driving and reduced speed in affected areas.

The weather forecast for Wednesday will be generally fair to partly cloudy. Convective clouds are expected to develop over eastern areas, potentially bringing rainfall through Sunday. Coastal regions will experience a noticeable drop in temperatures, though conditions remain sweltering across much of the country.

Temperatures are forecast to soar, with internal areas bracing for highs between 44°C and 49°C. Coastal regions and islands will see maximums between 40°C and 45°C, while mountainous areas will experience slightly milder conditions ranging from 33°C to 39°C.

Humidity is expected to increase overnight into Thursday morning, potentially leading to additional fog or mist in low-lying areas. Winds will remain light to moderate, occasionally picking up during the day and stirring up blowing dust, especially in western parts of the country.

Sea conditions will remain slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
