Dubai: This evening, we can expect fair to partly cloudy weather, but be prepared for occasional dusty conditions. As night falls, humidity is likely to rise, especially in some Northern Internal areas. Moderate to fresh northwesterly winds are anticipated, with the possibility of stronger gusts, particularly over the sea, which will stir up dust and sand in the air. This could lead to reduced visibility on the roads, so drivers should exercise caution.

Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to be rough, and these strong winds will persist into tomorrow, Friday, May 16.

On Friday morning, the weather will remain fair to partly cloudy with intermittent dusty intervals. Humidity levels will continue to be high, particularly in the Northern Internal regions. Winds are expected to be moderate to fresh, blowing at speeds between 15 and 30 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching up to 40 km/h. Blowing dust and sand may be observed in several areas, particularly towards the north.

While the sea will be slight to moderate, it may turn rough by Saturday morning in the Arabian Gulf, and possibly rough at times in the Oman Sea as well.

High temperatures are projected to range between 40 and 45 degrees Celsius in coastal and island regions, with nighttime lows between 39 and 35 degrees Celsius. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), we can expect a shift in temperatures throughout the week, with fair to partly cloudy conditions continuing, alongside a gradual decrease in temperatures.
