Dubai: UAE residents with dust allergies are advised to stay indoors as a dust storm sweeps through Dubai this afternoon. Blowing dust has significantly reduced horizontal visibility to less than 1,500 meters, particularly over Zayed City and Shakbout City in Abu Dhabi around 11am, as reported by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

Meanwhile, light rain has been recorded over Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi, bringing slippery roads. Motorists are urged to drive with caution due to the wet and slippery conditions.

Looking ahead, the NCM forecasts tomorrow's weather to be fair to partly cloudy across some areas, with light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds reaching speeds of 10-25 km/hr, gusting up to 35 km/hr. The Arabian Gulf will see moderate sea conditions, while the Oman Sea will remain slight.
