UAE weather alert: Cloudy skies and light rainfall expected across the UAE

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) is forecasting a mix of partly cloudy to cloudy skies across parts of the UAE today, with a slight chance of light rainfall in some coastal and northern areas. The weather bureau reported light rain over Al Sila and Al Ghuwaifat in the Al Dhafra region early this morning.

Temperatures in the interior regions will rise to a warm 32-37°C, while coastal areas and islands will see milder highs ranging between 28-32°C. The cooler mountain areas will enjoy temperatures between 25-29°C, offering a pleasant respite.

Expect light to moderate winds throughout the day, which may intensify at times, causing dust and sand to swirl in the air and reducing visibility. Winds will reach speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, gusting up to 40 km/h from the northeast to northwest.

The seas will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf, so mariners should exercise caution. Meanwhile, conditions in the Oman Sea will be slightly calmer, but still moderate.
