Dubai: The weather across the UAE today is expected to be slightly warm and humid, according to the daily forecast from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). Residents in the UAE may experience hot weather, with temperatures potentially hitting near 50°C today.

According to NCM, the skies are predominantly sunny, although some eastern regions are experiencing intermittent cloud cover.

The hottest temperature recorded yesterday was 46.6°C in Tawiyen, Fujairah, logged at 1:30 PM.

This extreme heat stretches across the nation, with various areas reporting high temperatures ranging from 40°C to 45°C throughout yesterday.

In addition to the soaring temperatures, strong winds are contributing to dusty conditions, blowing at speeds of 15–25 km/h and occasionally peaking up to 45 km/h. This can significantly reduce visibility, particularly in regions where clouds have formed.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving, as dust storms may arise unexpectedly, hampering clear sightlines on the roads.

Individuals who are prone to allergies should also take necessary precautions when venturing outdoors. Furthermore, humidity levels are projected to reach a maximum of 70%, creating a muggy atmosphere that can be uncomfortable.

The sea conditions are also noteworthy, with the Arabian Gulf expected to experience slight to moderate waves at times, while the Oman Sea remains relatively calm. Residents and visitors should plan their outdoor activities accordingly, taking into account the extreme weather conditions for safety and comfort.
