The Met Office forecasts slight increase in temperatures today
Dubai: Fair to partly cloudy skies were reported across the UAE today. The Met Office forecasts gradual increase in temperatures, with a chance of fog or mist formation.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), humid conditions are to be expected tonight and tomorrow morning, over some internal and coastal areas, with a probability of fog or mist formation.
The highest temperatures recorded today was 27.9 degree Celsius over Saih Al Salam area in Dubai. While the lowest temperature recorded was 3.4 degree Celsius over Raknah area in Al ain.
This week’s forecast
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are to be expected over some areas throughout the week, with humidity in the night.
The NCM forecasts fog or mist formation on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
According to the NCM, rainfall is to be expected over some coastal, eastern and northern areas of the country on Wednesday, January 8 and Thursday, January 9, 2025.
Wind speeds are expected to reach up to 40 km/hr this week.
