Stunning images as fog envelops the UAE

Dubai: When fog rolls into the UAE, you can always be sure of one thing: some amazing images will land in the Gulf News inbox.

And this morning was no exception as once again driving conditions were made treacherous by poor visibility.

Several readers took out their cameras and phones and shared some fantastic views.

Philotas Ghikas sent this stunning picture via email, appearing to show the top of Dubai Marina floating in the air.

Not to be outdone, Matthew Filby captured this image from the Princess Tower looking into Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai.

A trawl through Twitter threw up this great image of Downtown Dubai including the Burj Khalifa, sent from user The Dreamer from the handle @fadsy.

@ArvinValbuena tweeted this great picture of Business Bay.

And @HarrisPye tweeted: "We like it here above the fog in JLT" along with this picture.
