Sandstorm from Saudi Arabia hits UAE

Dubai:  Weather forecasters have warned of fog, dust and sand particles blowing in the air along with a significant drop in temperature on Thursday.

Cloud cover will increase over the north and the sea will be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in Oman Sea, they said.

Visibility will dip below 1,000 metres over the middle and eastern Saudi Arabia as the storm moves gradually to western UAE.
