More dust storms heading for UAE, drivers warned

Abu Dhabi: Drivers in the UAE were warned to exercise caution on the roads on Sunday due to high dust levels expected across the country.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) urged motorists to take extra care on the roads, especially in inner-city areas.

The centre urged motorists to avoid accidents by following traffic regulations and maintaining a safe, sufficient distance between vehicles.

The NCMS also advised the public against venturing into the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, due to be expected rough sea conditions.
