Al Ain: Mist and fog caused problems for those who were traveling late in the night and early Monday morning mostly in the eastern and some northern parts of the country.

Some internal areas were also affected by poor visibility that dropped down to 200 to 1000 metres at times. The mist and fog disappeared with the day break and sunrise.

Monday's conditions are expected to remain pleasant as temperature will slightly rise especially in the interior areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). Weather will be partly cloudy in general across the country.

The conditions are likely to be cold to very cold at night, affecting mostly the internal and mountainous areas.

Winds would light to moderately rough but little stronger over the sea.

Forecasters also predict an increase in relative humidity late in the night and early in the morning, in the coastal and internal areas.

This could lead to fog and mist formation.
