Light to moderate rain hits parts of Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, cloudy skies across UAE

The National Center of Meteorology forecasts rain and decrease in temperature on Saturday

Dubai: Light to moderate rain hit parts of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah once again on Saturday. The National Center of Metorology, on Saturday evening, shared yellow alerts for clouds developing over some eastern and northern parts of the country.

The Met Office also issued a yellow alert for cloudy conditions associated with rainfall over Khor Fakkan and Fujairah.

Cloudy conditions are to be expected over the weekend in the UAE. According to the NCM, residents can expect fog or mist formation over some western areas.

In areas where there is cloud formation and rain, temperatures are expected to decrease. Expect moderate winds at times. 

Humidity is expected to increase by night and Sunday morning over some coastal and internal areas.

According to the NCM weather forecast for tomorrow, the conditions will be fair to partly cloudy, with periods of cloudiness over some coastal areas, northern regions, and islands during the daytime. There will be a further decrease in temperatures. It will be humid by night and on Monday morning, with a chance of mist forming in some inland areas. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will be present, occasionally fresh, potentially causing blowing dust to move northward, with speeds ranging from 15 to 25 km/h, and gusts reaching up to 40 km/h. The sea is expected to be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Oman Sea.
