Hot, dusty, and humid weather in the UAE, maximum temperature hits 46°C today

Dubai: The UAE experienced a scorching day on Tuesday, with temperatures exceeding 45°C. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the highest temperature recorded in the country was 46°C in Al Shawamekh (Abu Dhabi) at 1:15 PM on April 29.

Other parts of the country also experienced high temperatures ranging from 40°C to 44°C in the afternoon.

The conditions were influenced by weak surface pressure systems and the extension of an upper-air high-pressure system. In coastal areas, temperature highs are expected to reach between 37°C and 44°C, while internal areas may see highs of 42°C to 45°C, and mountainous regions are likely to enjoy temperatures between 30°C and 35°C.

Weather forecast for tomorrow:

On Wednesday, the weather is expected to be generally clear and warm. Humidity will increase during the night and early morning, with a possibility of mist formation over some coastal areas. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will be freshening at times, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h at times. The sea will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
