The Met Office forecasts a chance of rainfall and freezing water over the mountains

Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and yellow fog alerts across Al Dhafra region. Foggy weather conditions are expected to continue until 9.30am, today.
According to the NCM, partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over northern, eastern and coastal areas, with “rainfall of different intensities, and a probability of freezing water over the mountains by morning.”
Additionally, a fog alert was issued by the NCM this morning. It stated there will be “a deterioration in horizontal visibility, which may drop even further at times over some western areas until 9.30 am.”
Red and yellow fog alerts were issued over Ghweifat and Tarfa, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road from Al Sila towards Al Ghweifat, Ghiyathi, Bad’ Al Mutaw’ah and Yaw Al Nadhrah, Al Ayif, over Ras Ghumais, Baynounah, Milaysah, and over Al Hamra, Bu Hasa, Yaw Al Ghadar, Sabkhat Matti, Owtaid, Mukhayriz and over Bada Dafas areas in Al Dhafra region.
The highest temperatures today are expected to be between 22 and 26 degree Celsius over coastal and islands region. While temperature lows will be between 13 and 18 degree Celsius.
Light to moderate winds, which can be “strong at times with clouds causing blowing dust” can be expected today, with speeds reaching up to 45 km/ over coastal and islands region.
