Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast fair weather across the UAE today, with partly cloudy skies expected at times in the eastern regions. However, dense fog blanketing several areas has prompted urgent safety warnings for motorists.

The weather bureau reported heavy fog early this morning over Ghantout, Al Ajban in Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Zayed Road towards Jebel Ali, Madinat Hind in Dubai, Al Maktoum International Airport, Emirates Road towards Jebel Ali, Dubai South, Hezaiwah, Al Raafah, and Al Aqran in Umm Al Quwain, significantly reducing road visibility.

Motorists are strongly advised to drive slowly and cautiously, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, avoid using hazard lights, adhere to posted speed limits, and stay in their lanes. The NCM also urged the public to stay updated via official weather reports and avoid spreading misinformation.

Temperature Forecast

  • Interior regions: 42°C to 47°C

  • Coastal areas and islands: 35°C to 40°C

  • Mountainous areas: 33°C to 38°C

The weather will remain humid tonight and into Wednesday morning, with a possibility of mist forming over some coastal and internal regions. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast at 10 to 20 km/h, reaching up to 30 km/h at times.

The NCM continues to monitor conditions closely and urges all residents to follow official updates.
