Dubai: Take necessary precautions as you head out today, particularly if you suffer from allergies, as it’s going to be a dusty day in some parts of the UAE. According to the NCM, today, the weather in general across most parts of the country will be, 'fair in general and partly cloudy and dusty at times over some areas during the daytime.' Temperatures tend to gradually decrease.

Today's temperatures are expected to vary significantly across different regions. Along the coastal areas and islands, temperatures will range from a warm 36°C to 41°C. Meanwhile, the internal regions will experience even higher highs, reaching between 40°C and 45°C. In the mountainous areas, temperatures will be more moderate, ranging from a cooler 30°C to 35°C.

As night falls and into Thursday morning, humidity levels will rise over some coastal and internal areas, increasing the likelihood of mist formation, particularly in the northern regions.

Winds will be predominantly moderate, blowing northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 15 to 30 km/hr, but may pick up to fresh or strong gusts at times from the west. This could lead to blowing dust and sand, which may temporarily reduce horizontal visibility.

The Arabian Gulf is expected to be rough to moderate, with a northwesterly wind gusting up to 40 km/h, causing wave heights to reach 6 feet in offshore waters. Conditions in the Oman Sea will be relatively slight. This turbulent maritime weather will likely continue until tomorrow.
