Dubai: The UAE continues to swelter under extreme summer heat, with temperatures pushing dangerously high levels, prompting health advisories against outdoor activity.

According to AccuWeather, Dubai will experience hazy sunshine and a scorching high of 45°C today, with breezy conditions in the afternoon. The current temperature stands at 33°C, but it feels like 38°C under the intense sun. Tonight will remain very warm and partly cloudy, dipping only to 35°C.

In Abu Dhabi, conditions are similarly harsh, with a high of 46°C under partly sunny skies. The night will bring little relief, as temperatures remain around 35°C.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over the eastern and southern regions, with a chance of light rain. Inland areas are expected to see highs between 44°C and 49°C, coastal areas between 43°C and 48°C, and mountain regions between 30°C and 36°C.

The highest temperature recorded in the UAE yesterday was a searing 49.6°C in Jazeera B.G. (Al Dhafra region) at 3:15pm.

Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening from the southeast to northeast at 10–25 km/h, gusting up to 35 km/h. Seas will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Health officials warn that most outdoor activity remains hazardous, urging residents and workers to avoid direct sunlight and stay hydrated.
