UAE to see fall in temperature with a chance of light rainfall on Monday
Dubai: Over the next few days, the UAE will experience a significant decrease in temperature, with a chance of light rainfall on Monday morning in some areas, the National Center of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS) has said.
“In general, we expect the partly cloudy weather to continue over the next few days. Some areas will experience a decrease in temperatures by up to four to seven degrees Celsius,” an official of NCMS said. “The amount of clouds will increase over island, coastal and the northern areas with a chance of light rain.”
Visibility may be impaired by the relatively wintry climate with winds blowing at 35-45kph.
“The Northwesterly winds will be moderate to fresh and strong over the sea and causing dust to blow over open areas, especially westwards” he said, “This may reduce the horizontal visibility at times.”
According to the NCMS forecast, the sea will be very rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Oman Sea.
