Sunny to cloudy weather today, but fog and overcast skies are forecasted for the weekend
Abu Dhabi and Dubai are enjoying sunny to partly cloudy weather this afternoon, but the UAE saw a chilly start to the day. The lowest temperature recorded this morning was a surprising 3.1°C in Raknah, Al Ain, at 7am, sending a cool breeze across the region.
Looking ahead, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts fair to partly cloudy skies tomorrow, with clouds expected to roll in by night. Coastal areas, including islands, will experience overcast conditions on Monday morning, and there's a chance of fog or mist forming in some internal and coastal regions, creating low visibility.
Expect light to moderate winds, picking up at times with speeds between 10-20 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h. The sea will be slightly to moderately calm in the Arabian Gulf and gentle in the Oman Sea.
Residents should prepare for a humid evening and morning ahead, especially near the coast. Stay safe on the roads as fog may pose a driving hazard in the early hours on Monday.
