Temperatures will drop over the next couple of days, with dust clouds affecting majority of the Emirates
Dubai: Cover your mouths and protect your eyes; its going to get quite dusty over the next few days.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said it expects windy and dusty conditions to affect most of the UAE until Friday, except for some of the islands where the weather will remain cloudy.
The temperatures for Wednesday is expected to range between 19 and 29 degrees Celsius over the internal and mountain region, with mild to strong northwesterly winds that will especially affect the sea and exposed areas of land.
Wind speed is expected to kick up to 40km/h and 45km/h from the coastal area of Fujairah to Al Ruwais in Abu Dhabi.
On Thursday, weather forecasters expect fair to partly cloudy in general, with dust clouds continuing to affect most of the country. The NCMS also warned motorists to take extra caution as road visibility is expected to reduce down to less than one kilometre.
By nightfall, humidity levels are expected to rise into early Friday morning at levels of up to 90 per cent in coastal and internal areas, and 75 per cent in mountain areas.
A chance of fog and mist is also expected to form on Friday morning, with rough waves in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, which are expected to calm down by the afternoon.
