Police urge residents to take precautions during unstable weather

Ajman: Two Emirati men and 11 Asian workers were rescued in Masfout area of Ajman following heavy rain leading to flooding on Wednesday.

Brigadier Shaikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, commander-in-chief of Ajman Police, said that Ajman Police rescued the two Emiratis with the help of residents, after their car was swept away into the Masfout valley.

Police also saved passengers from 16 vehicles caught in the flooded valleys in Masfout and Mazeria areas.

Eleven workers trapped in the floods were rescued.

“Police intensified their efforts in rescuing residents of the affected areas,“ Brig. Al Nuaimi said.

He urged residents to take precautions during unstable weather and not approach places where flooding had occurred.
