Dubai: The year 2018 in the UAE was marked as the Year of Zayed, and one Dubai-based company took the opportunity to commemorate the UAE’s Founding Father to an entirely different level.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which fell on May 6, New Dimension Productions (NDP) has created a stunning 3D video that is true to real life.
NDP’s team carried out extensive research of Shaikh Zayed’s mannerisms, as they carefully studied his tone of voice, facial expressions and body gestures.
“The project, which challenges the regional motion picture production capabilities, was inspired by Dubai’s vision to pioneer and lead the future in term of visual FX productions,” said NDP.
NDP posted the video and a photo of their project, which was accompanied with the caption: “Today we celebrate the 100- year birthday of the UAE’s founding father, the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May his soul rest in peace).”
“Knowing that the year holds the name of the founder Shaik Zayed, we took the initiative to re-produce his memorial speech by incorporating 3D modelling and animation technologies resulting in a photorealistic production that transcends beyond time.”
UAE social media users quickly shared the amazing video, with over 63,000 views since it was uploaded last Sunday.
