MoHRE’s video shows happy faces of workers playing games, enjoying shows, winning prizes

Dubai: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has released a new video that shows how the ministry brought joy to the faces of more than 120,000 workers across the UAE with special Eid Al Fitr celebrations for them.
As reported by Gulf News earlier, MoHRE, in collaboration with its partners in federal and local governments, had organised a series of celebratory events, including social and recreational activities for workers to celebrate Eid Al Fitr.
And Eid turned lucky for some workers as they won a car, e-scooter, smartphone, shopping vouchers and more during special Eid celebrations arranged for them. Rubel Ahmed Samsad Ali was the lucky winner of a car.
The new video released on social media shows how the event, held under the theme “Our Workers, The Pulse of Our Business,” drew smiles on the workers’ faces.
“As part of our commitment to fostering solidarity and creating a positive impact in the workplace, we organised a series of celebratory events across the country during the Eid Al Fitr under the theme “Our Workers, The Pulse of Our Business.” These events were held in collaboration with various governmental entities, bringing joy to over 120,000 workers,” the ministry said in the post.
“This initiative reflects our belief in the importance of appreciating and uplifting our workforce,” it added.
The accompanying video shows thousands of workers happily waving their mobile phones with the torchlight on, dancing and waving their hands while watching various entertainment performances.
The video also shows workers attending Eid prayers specially organised for them where MoHRE officials joined them. The workers are also seen participating in various sports and games.
Some of the winners being rewarded on stage is also shown.
Workers participated in a variety of activities designed to bring joy and create lasting memories. MoHRE said the activities included football, cricket, volleyball, carom and tug of war.
The grand show of appreciation for the vital role played by workers in the UAE took place across 10 locations nationwide, aimed to honour and uplift the country’s workforce, making the festive season extra special for more 120,000 workers.
Held in collaboration with various governmental entities, the two-day celebration was an opportunity for the MoHRE to show its commitment to worker welfare and solidarity.
From games and entertainment to delicious meals, the events were designed to foster a sense of unity and belonging among the workers who make up the UAE's vibrant workforce.
In previous years, the MoHRE has also been praised for initiatives such as providing transportation allowances, offering free healthcare, and facilitating professional development programmes for workers, all of which contribute to a positive and productive working environment across the UAE.
