Ras Al Khaimah: A truck driver was burnt to death and another seriously injured when their vehicles caught fire following a collision on Emirates Road just after midnight on Sunday, police said on Monday.

Major Tareq Al Sharhan, head of the Emergency Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, told Gulf News that the incident took place after midnight on Sunday.
Police were alerted about heavy vehicles burning on Emirates road and the drivers were stuck inside.
“The fire started after the two trucks were involved in a collision. One of the drivers burned to death while the other one was transferred to the hosipital,” Major Al Sharhan said.
The traffic was diverted to alternative roads, the official said.
