Municipality says it’s using latest tech to deliver ‘eco-friendly and modern’ amenities
Dubai: Joggers and other visitors at Dubai parks can now rest and relax on eco-friendly 3D-printed seats.
Dubai Municipality has already introduced 40 such seats in two parks, the civic body has revealed, with the project expected to be expanded to other parks under the municipality.
“The 40 3D-printed seats add elegance to Uptown Mirdif [and] Al Khawaneej parks,” the municipality said in a post on X, which was accompanied by a video showing the seats being constructed and used.
The civic body said these seats are eco-friendly, sustainable and modern. They have been introduced as part of the municipality’s efforts to make Dubai more livable, beautiful and pioneering.
“This initiative supports #DubaiMunicipality’s goal of using technology to make Dubai a leader in environmental sustainability,” the municipality added.
