The UAE national karate team left yesterday for Iran to conduct a two-week training camp in Tehran in preparation for the Asian Games to be held in Busan from September 28 to October 14.
The UAE national karate team left yesterday for Iran to conduct a two-week training camp in Tehran in preparation for the Asian Games to be held in Busan from September 28 to October 14.
The UAE team will take part in warm-up games with the Iranian national team and Iranian clubs during their stay in Tehran.
Ibrahim Mohammed Ahmed, national team manager, heads the delegation to Tehran along with Waheed Al Hussaini, coach, and 10 players Mohammed Abbas, Fakhr Eddin Abdul Majeed, Ayoub Mohammed Hussain, Khalid Suliman, Mohammed Abdullah, Mansoor Aziz, Mohammed Suliman, Fahd Mohammed Abbas. Jaber Jasim and Humaid Shamis.
The team will return to Dubai on September 4. Five days later they leave for Morocco to take part in the Arab championship, to be held from September 11-18.
The Arab event will be the final preparations for the team before embarking on their trip to Korea on September 30.
