UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 kicks off: Elite teams compete for $260,000 prize

Dubai has once again become the epicentre of elite tactical competition as the sixth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 commenced at Al Ruwayyah Training City.

Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, inaugurated the event, welcoming top-tier tactical teams from around the world.

The ceremony, featuring the UAE National Anthem and captivating displays, set the stage for intense competition.

Competition begins

The event kicked off with the Assault Challenge, where six-member teams demonstrated precision, speed, and coordination under high-pressure conditions. Over the next four days, teams will compete in grueling challenges, including an Obstacle Course, Officer Rescue, Tower Event, and Tactical Event, showcasing their tactical prowess and teamwork.

Prize pool of $260,000

With a total prize fund of $260,000, the competition promises high stakes and intense rivalries. Daily cash rewards will be granted to the top three performing teams, with the ultimate champions being crowned at the grand finale, earning their place among the world’s top tactical units.
