UAE President calls for rain prayers at mosques

Abu Dhabi: Rain prayers will be performed across all UAE mosques on Friday in response to a call made by the President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Sunday.

Known in Arabic as ‘Salaat Al Istisqaa’, the prayers will be offered at 11.30am on November 11 nationwide.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed called for praying to Allah to send rain, mercy and abundance upon the country and its people.
