Abu Dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Education has launched a comprehensive national survey aimed at assessing the satisfaction levels of students and their parents regarding the school environment and the quality of educational services provided in public schools.

Spearheaded by the School Operations Sector, the survey targets students across all three educational cycles – early, middle and secondary. Dedicated digital links have been created for each stage to facilitate easy participation and accessibility. This initiative is considered a core tool in the ministry’s performance monitoring system, enabling in-depth analysis of students’ experiences and direct feedback from the field.

Survey targets students from Grades 1 to 12

In an official circular to school administrations and published via the ministry’s digital platforms, the ministry emphasised that participation in the survey by students and their parents forms a foundational pillar in shaping realistic improvement initiatives that reflect the actual needs of the educational field and broader community expectations.
School leaders and teachers have been urged to actively engage students in completing the survey within the designated period via the Learning Management System (LMS).

According to the ministry, responses for Cycle 1 students (Grades 1 to 4) can be submitted either by the student or a parent. Students in Cycles 2 and 3 (Grades 5 to 12) are expected to complete the survey themselves using their official school accounts.

Survey open to public school students only

Each student may only respond once, and participation is limited to students enrolled in public schools. Survey results will help identify strengths and pinpoint challenges, supporting more responsive and practical decision-making processes.
The ministry encourages the promotion of a culture of self-evaluation and community engagement as key elements of modern education practices. This initiative forms part of a broader strategy to realise the ministry’s vision of building a world-class, transparent, and accountable educational system rooted in institutional excellence.
