Ras Al Khaimah: Two Arab men working in a government department in Ras Al Khaimah have been accused of taking bribes to cancel traffic fines from the system.

The Public prosecution in Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesday began interrogating the suspects, an official at Ras Al Khaimah police told Gulf News on Wednesday

The employees are accused of taking a large sum of money to delete large amounts of traffic fines in the system.

An official said the details of the case date back to earlier this summer when a government department in Ras Al Khaimah lodged a complaint with the police against the two accused.

The police interrogated the men before transferring them to the Public Prosecution.
