Two fishermen injured as fishing vessel exploded in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah: Two fishermen were injured when their fishing boat exploded during a fishing trip near Sha’am in Ras Al Khaimah on Tuesday.

The fishermen, including the owner of the fishing vessel (an Emirati man, 50), and his assistant an Indian man, 28 suffered moderate injuries.

Police are investigating the cause of the explosion. Residents of Al Sha’am said they heard explosions about six kilometres away from the port.
