Trucks, labour buses banned inside Abu Dhabi Island during New Year's Eve celebrations

Abu Dhabi: As part of preparations for New Year’s Eve spectacle, authorities here have announced a ban on trucks and buses.

Trucks and labour buses will be banned inside Abu Dhabi Island from 7am on Sunday, December 31, 2023 to 7am on Monday, January 1, 2024, according to Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) Abu Dhabi.

Logistics and general cleaning company vehicles are exempted from the ban. The ITC urged road users to drive cautiously and abide by traffic rules and regulations.
