Weekend road closures announced in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain starting July 25

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Mobility has announced partial road closures in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain beginning Friday, July 25, 2025.

The closures are set to affect two major streets and will extend through the early morning of Monday, July 28.

In the capital, Sultan Bin Zayed The First Street, a key traffic artery, will undergo partial closure from 11:00pm on Friday until 5:00am on Monday, according to the authority.

Simultaneously, in the eastern city of Al Ain, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street will undergo partial lane closures, specifically affecting the right lane from 2:00pm on Friday until 5:30am on Monday.

This stretch passes through the Tawam Area and runs near prominent landmarks such as Tawam Hospital and UAE University.
