Video: Ras Al Khaimah Police launch VIP driver testing service

Ras Al Khaimah: In a move to enhance the quality of services provided to the public, Ras Al Khaimah Police has introduced a new VIP vehicle testing service for driver’s license applicants. The initiative, launched by the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department in collaboration with the Public Resources Authority, aims to raise the standard of customer service at the Traffic and Licensing Center.

Colonel Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, explained that the new VIP service allows applicants to take both the internal and on-road driving tests in one go—and in a luxury vehicle. This not only streamlines the process but also offers a more comfortable and distinguished experience. The service reflects the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to excellence and aligns with the star-rating system for customer service.

Captain Adnan Mohammed Ahmed, Acting Director of the Driver Licensing Branch, added that the entire testing process can now be completed in as little as 15 minutes. If applicants pass both tests, they can receive their driver’s license immediately—without having to book another appointment for the on-road test. This fast-track approach provides a premium experience, exceeds customer expectations, and strengthens the institution’s reputation for innovation and service quality.
