Two seriously injured in road accident

Dubai: Two Arab nationals were seriously injured in a horrific accident at midnight on Thursday night on Emirates road, near the Global Village.

The Arab motorist and a pick-up driver crashed into each other due to speeding, said a traffic police officer.

The Arab motorist and a passenger had to be freed from their severely damaged vehicle using hydraulic equipment. Both were transferred to Rashid hospital, he said.
