Dubai: Several accidents in Dubai delayed commuters on their way to work on Tuesday, according to social media reports.
The first accident happened on Shaikh Zayed Road on the Marabea slip road towards Al Khail Road. Police were immediately dispatched to the scene to aid the driver, and assisted in diverting traffic to help it run smoothly.
Another accident was reported on Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed (MBZ) Road near Dubai Investments Park heading towards Abu Dhabi, at around 8am.

The third major traffic accident was reported on MBZ Road near Global Village, which further burdened motorists on their journey.

The city of Abu Dhabi was also affected by traffic, with the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport reporting an accident on Shaikh Zayed Street before Al Raha, which caused delays.

Heavy tailbacks were also reported on MBZ Road from the National Paints roundabout in Sharjah to Mirdif City Centre, and from Al Wahda Street to Hor Al Anz in Dubai.
