Sharjah's Al Khan Road to be closed partially
Road will be closed partially from Sharjah industrial area number three towards the second industrial area from April 19 to May 18
Sharjah: Al Khan Road will be closed partially on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from Sharjah industrial area number three towards the second industrial area.
An official at the Directorate of Public Works at Sharjah said the road would be reopened on May 18 after the completion of road works.
The closure will be carried out and supervised by Sharjah Police and the project will be carried out by Sharjah public works department.
A senior official at the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works Department said the road closure would include a diversion along the traffic lanes and along service roads. The road will be closed from one direction.
The official at PDW has urged the public to cooperate with police and also follow road diversion signs and drive cautiously and abide by the speed limit.
