Sharjah sport cars to get new number plate size

Sharjah: Sport cars registered in Sharjah will have number plates in a smaller size as Sharjah Police are working on plans to replace the existing design with a smaller one.

The Sharjah Vehicle and Licensing Department has launched small sized number plates for drivers of luxury sports cars.

Colonel Hamad Abdullah Al Helo, Director of the department at Sharjah Police, said small number plates are distinguished and have been approved by the traffic department at the Ministry of Interior. Whoever wishes to obtain this service must pay a Dh500 fee.
