Sharjah imposes new road timings for trucks

Sharjah: New road timings have come into force for trucks passing through Sharjah.

Trucks will be banned on Sharjah roads from 5.30am to 9.30am and from 1pm to 3pm and from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, said a joint statement issued by the general department of police in Sharjah and planning and survey department.

The new timings will help ease traffic flow on all roads in Sharjah, said the statement.

Offenders will be punished, it said.
