Shaikh Zayed Road to be partly closed

Dubai: Shaikh Zayed Road will be partly closed for maintenance between Dubai World Trade Centre and Interchange One, in the direction of Jebel Ali on Thursday and Friday, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Wednesday.

Three right-side lanes will be closed for maintenance work between Dubai World Trade Centre and Interchange One from 2am to 10am on Thursday and the other three lanes will be closed from the dawn to 10am on Friday.

RTA will undertake maintenance works to the asphalt pavement in the sector.

The authority has urged the motorists to avoid the road or be extra cautious while driving along the stretch.
