Dubai: An accident on Wednesday morning brought Shaikh Zayed Road to a halt, delaying commuters heading into Dubai.
Frustrated motorists who drove their way towards Dubai found themselves stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic from Mall of the Emirates until the Safa exit.
As the minutes passed by, the traffic snarl on Shaikh Zayed Road also lengthened simultaneously.
Traffic flow was aggravated in Dubai after police reported two accidents on Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road near the Fruit and Vegetable Market.
Motorists were advised to take alternative routes and follow traffic rules.
Motorists using Al Khail Road also faced traffic delays after an accident happened at around 10.30am, affecting motorists driving from Al Quoz towards Business Bay.
