RTA to hold six auctions this year

Dubai: Six number plate auctions will be held this year, the Licensing Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Friday.

Mohammad Abdul Kareem Nimat, director of the Vehicle Licensing Department, Licensing Agency, RTA, said in a press release on Friday:

"The six auctions, expected to be held this year at the rate of one auction every two months, are meant to complement the previous rounds of this RTA initiated scheme, which avails many people the opportunity [to acquire] distinguished number plates."
