RTA launches new water bus route

Dubai: The second route of a a water bus shuttling between Al Sabkha and Al Seef was launched yesterday by the Roads and Transport Authority's Marine Agency.

The water bus's first route linking Al Sabkha Station in Deira with Al Gubaiba Station in Bur Dubai was launched on August 16.

Eisa Abdul Rahman Al Dosari, CEO of the Marine Agency, RTA said the water bus project was another addition to public marine transport on Dubai Creek.

"The project covers four key stations; Deira Old Souk Station, Dubai Souk Station, Al Sabkha Station and Dubai Old Souk Station.
