Plan trips on multiple transport modes

Abu Dhabi: Commuters in the capital can now use their Darb smartphone application to plan their trips, while also comparing the wait time and cost differences of various transportation modes.

The multi-modal journey planning feature has been added to the app by the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport (DMAT), the transport sector regulator, in a bid to decrease congestion and improve traffic services. The planning functionality uses real-time traffic data to calculate wait times, and show incidents that have caused congestion on the roads.
