Dubai: The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has set a new fare of Dh4 per round trip on the water bus.
The new fare is applicable from 6am to 11pm, said Mohammad Obaid Al Mulla, CEO of RTA Marine Agency.

The RTA has also approved a new line of water bus (B4) to provide a shuttle service between Creek Park, Al Seef and Bur Dubai stations.
The 25-minute service is run at an interval of one hour between services, with a two-minute stop over at stations, Al Mulla said.
Al Mulla said: "Ticketing process has also been upgraded such that the ticket has become valid for a two-way trip instead of a single-way trip."
"Two types of tickets are now applicable: the e-ticket..and the manual ticket," he added.
Water bus services
The Water Bus operates between five lines:
B1 from Sabkha Station to Bur Dubai Station
B3 from Sabkha Station to Bani Yas Station and Seef Station
B2 from Bani Yas Station to Dubai Old Souk Station
B5 (Tourist Line) from Shindagha Station to Seef Station (back and forth)
B4 from Creek Part Station to Seef Station and Bur Dubai Station
The service covers eight stations, namely: Sabkha Station, Seef Station, Bani Yas Station, Dubai Old Souk Station, Bur Dubai Station, Shindagha Station, Deira Old Souk Station, and Creek Park Station.
