Dubai: Commuters and motorists faced heavy traffic on Sunday morning as schools around the UAE re-opened after a long summer break.
Massive traffic jams were reported in different parts of Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, and road users have been advised to take extra care when approaching or entering school premises.
In Sharjah, serious gridlocks caused delays in major highways in and around Safeer Mall, Al Majaz, Abu Shagara Park, National Paints, Mega Mall, Cultural Square and Sharjah Science Museum.
