Wife, toddler and housemaid critical in accident attributed to speeding

Sharjah: An Emirati man was killed in a Sharjah road crash on Saturday evening. His wife, child and housemaid were seriously injured and are in critical condition.

The crash happened at around 6pm on Maliha Road in Sharjah when the man lost control of his vehicle resulting in it turning over several times. Police officials said he was speeding.

The 32-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at Al Dhaid Hospital.

His wife, two-year-old child and the Indonesian maid are in the intensive care unit of Al Dhaid Hospital.

The body of the deceased was moved to the hospital morgue and will later be handed over to his family for burial.
